What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The booking form or agreement for the unit, with the promised possession date
    • Receipts for every payment made, and your letters and emails with the builder
    • The RERA registration number of the project

  2. If possession is late and you want to stay in the project, send a legal notice claiming compensation for the delay.

  3. If you want your money back instead, send the refund demand letter to the builder.

  4. To cancel the booking, send the cancellation and refund request.

  5. If the builder does not reply or pay, complain to RERA Punjab in Form ‘M’.
