What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The registered sale, gift or transfer deed, and a copy of the conveyance deed
    • ID proof, Aadhaar card and PAN card of the new owner, and two witnesses for the indemnity bond

  2. Fill in the application to CHB to transfer the freehold property on the sale, gift or transfer deed.

  3. Fill in the indemnity bond, sign it before witnesses, and file it with the application.
