What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The allotment letter of the plot or house, with its number, sector and city
    • ID and address proof of the seller and the buyer
    • The sale price and how it will be paid
  2. The seller makes the no dues certificate application first, to ask HSVP for a certificate that nothing is owed on the plot or house.

  3. The seller then makes the transfer permission application, asking HSVP for permission to sell the plot or house to the buyer.

  4. Once the seller and the buyer agree, make the agreement to sell, sign it and have two witnesses sign. It records the price, the advance and the date by which the sale deed is to be signed.

  5. Make the sale deed with the same details, sign it with two witnesses on the stamp paper your documents call for, and get it registered.

  6. After the sale deed is registered, the buyer makes the re-allotment application, asking HSVP to record the buyer as the allottee.

    Have ready:

    • The registered sale deed and the authority’s permission to transfer
  7. Last, the new allottee can make the conveyance deed application, asking HSVP for the conveyance deed of the plot or house.

Tell us the details of this deal once. Each document in the kit then opens with those answers already filled in, marked "From kit details", and you can change any of them.

A kit is for one deal: one set of people, one property. For a different deal, start a new kit.

These details stay in this browser tab only. Nothing new is kept on our servers, and closing the tab clears them. They survive signing in with a code in this same tab.
