What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The business’s legal name and registered address, and the web address or app name
    • The names and addresses of the developer and any freelancer, and the work, price and dates you have agreed

  2. Make the website terms, privacy and refund policy for your site or app.

  3. If someone builds the site or software for you, make the website / software development agreement.

  4. For any other freelancer or independent contractor you hire, make the freelancer / independent contractor agreement.

Tell us the details of this deal once. Each document in the kit then opens with those answers already filled in, marked "From kit details", and you can change any of them.

A kit is for one deal: one set of people, one property. For a different deal, start a new kit.
