What you will need
Use the papers in this order.
Before you start, collect these papers.
Have ready:
- A copy of the Jamabandi showing all the co-sharers and their shares
- ID proof of every co-sharer, and the family tree if the land came by inheritance
If the family has already divided the land by word of mouth, write it down in a memorandum of the oral partition, so there is a record of who got what.
- Memorandum of an Oral Partition (made below, with your kit details)
Apply to the revenue officer for partition (taqseem) of the agricultural holding.
- Partition of an Agricultural Holding (made below, with your kit details)
After the partition, apply for mutation so that the revenue record shows each co-sharer as owner of his or her own share.
- Mutation on a Partition (made below, with your kit details)
Ask for the Tatima Shajra, the map that shows the new parcels after the partition.
- Tatima Shajra Application (made below, with your kit details)
Tell us the details of this deal once. Each document in the kit then opens with those answers already filled in, marked "From kit details", and you can change any of them.
A kit is for one deal: one set of people, one property. For a different deal, start a new kit.
These details stay in this browser tab only. Nothing new is kept on our servers, and closing the tab clears them. They survive signing in with a code in this same tab.
