What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The allotment letter and the payment receipts for the plot or flat
    • The ID proofs of the seller and the buyer

  2. The allottee asks the authority for permission to sell, gift or transfer the plot.

  3. For a flat in a builder’s project, get the builder’s NOC for the transfer of the allotment.

  4. If there is a co-allottee, they sign their consent to the transfer.

  5. Pay the transfer charges and keep a receipt for them.

  6. After the transfer deed is registered, the buyer applies for the re-transfer and a re-allotment letter in their name.
