What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The seller’s share certificate and the society’s membership details
    • The buyer’s name, address and ID, and the agreement to sell or sale deed

  2. The society issues its NOC for the transfer of the flat.

  3. The society certifies what common expenses are unpaid, if any, in the no-dues statement.

  4. The share certificate is endorsed from the seller to the buyer.

  5. The buyer applies to the society for membership.

  6. Once a member, the buyer names a nominee, or changes the nominee, with the nomination form.
