What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, have these ready.

    Have ready:

    • The marriage certificate and photographs of the wedding
    • Both spouses’ passport details and addresses

  2. Swear the affidavit that the marriage is genuine, for the spouse visa application.

  3. Swear the marriage affidavit that records when, where and how you married.

  4. Swear a relationship affidavit to support the application.

  5. If your spouse’s name is not yet on your passport, swear the affidavit to add it (Annexure J).
