What you will need
Use the papers in this order.
Before you start, collect these papers.
Have ready:
- Your rent agreement and every rent receipt or bank record of rent paid
- Any notice, summons or message you have received from the landlord, and photographs of the defects
If something in the premises needs repair, make the repair request letter to the landlord and keep a proof of sending it.

If the landlord refuses to take the rent, make the rent tender letter offering it, and keep a proof of sending it.

If you get an eviction notice, make the reply to it, answering each allegation, and send it to the landlord.

If the landlord files an eviction petition and you receive a court summons, make the reply and leave to contest application and give it to your advocate to file.
