What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The allotment letter or buyer's agreement and the receipts for what has been paid to the builder
    • ID proof and address proof of everyone who will sign

  2. Sign the assignment of booking rights, by which the first allottee passes the booking to the new buyer.

  3. Make the resale agreement for the under-construction property, with the price and the dues the new buyer takes over.

  4. Apply to the builder or authority to substitute the new buyer as the allottee, and fill in the nomination and transfer form it asks for.

  5. If there is a home loan on the booking, sign the three-way agreement with the bank and the builder to move the loan to the new buyer.
