What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these details.

    Have ready:

    • The premises or project, and who owns or is developing it
    • The commission rate and when it is payable

  2. Sign the commercial leasing brokerage agreement with the client, fixing the broker’s role, the commission and the period.

  3. Before showing a property, get the site visit and non-circumvention undertaking signed by the visitor.

  4. If a developer gives you a whole project to lease, sign the project leasing mandate with the developer.

  5. When the lease is signed, raise the brokerage invoice, which the paying party signs to acknowledge the commission.
