What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • PAN, Aadhaar and address proof of every partner, and the designated partners’ DIN or DPIN
    • The registered office address, with the owner’s ownership paper and a recent utility bill

  2. Make the LLP agreement. It sets out the partners’ shares, duties and how the LLP is run. All partners sign.

  3. If the registered office is in a place the LLP does not own, ask the owner to sign the consent letter for use of the address. You fill it in; the owner signs.

  4. To open the LLP’s bank account, make the resolution that names the bank and who may sign for the LLP.
