2.1 The Applicant is not an agriculturist within the meaning of section 2 of the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, and accordingly requires the previous permission in writing of the State Government under section 118(1) of that Act before the land described below can be transferred to the Applicant by sale. That power stands delegated to the Collector of this district.

8.1 This application is accompanied by: the Transferor's affidavit that the proposed sale will not render the Transferor landless; the Applicant's own affidavit that the Applicant has not previously acquired land in Himachal Pradesh under section 118 of the Act save as disclosed in paragraph 7 above; and, where the Land is recorded in more than one name, the no-objection affidavit of the other co-sharers — each sworn separately and annexed to this application, and none of them restated here.
