REISSUE OF A POSSESSION CERTIFICATE
Applicant: __________, __________, capacity __________..
BASIS
REQUEST
Please verify the original possession record and issue a certified duplicate or corrected reissue. This request does not seek fresh possession where none occurred.
LEGAL BASIS
In Chandigarh the Estate Officer's allotment file under the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952 is the record of title, so a duplicate or reissued document comes from the Estate Office. In Punjab, on a site allotted by a development authority under the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act, 1995, the authority gives its services only to the allottee on its file.
PERSONAL DATA NOTICE
This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Personal data in this document is collected for one purpose only: to apply for a certified reissue of the authority's existing possession record, communicate about it, verify the supplied property-record evidence and retain an evidentiary filing record.
If the request does not proceed, the data will be retained for 90 days and then erased. If it proceeds, the record will be retained for the proceeding plus 12 months, except where an official or statutory rule requires longer retention.
Data minimisation: this document does not collect a full Aadhaar number, a password or unrelated financial credentials, and none should be written into it.
