What you will need
Use the papers in this order.
Before you start, collect these papers.
Have ready:
- Your ownership papers and a copy of the Jamabandi, Fard or Tatima Shajra
- Photographs of the boundary or the encroachment, with dates if you have them
Apply for the land to be demarcated (nishandehi), so that the revenue officials mark the true boundary on the ground.

If someone has entered or occupied your land, give the police a complaint for trespass.

Complain to the SDM or Tehsildar, who can look into the boundary and the encroachment on the revenue side.

If the other side does not move, send a legal notice asking them to remove the encroachment within a stated time.
