What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The allotment letter or lease deed, and the last payment receipts
    • ID proof and address proof of everyone who will sign

  2. The lessee applies to the Estate Office for permission (NOC) to transfer the lease rights to the buyer.

  3. Apply for the No Dues Certificate, so the Estate Office confirms that nothing is outstanding on the property.

  4. The buyer swears the liability affidavit-cum-indemnity bond, taking on the dues and liabilities that come with the property.

  5. After the transfer, the buyer swears the auto-mutation affidavit-cum-indemnity bond, with the architect's certificate, so the record changes to the buyer's name.

  6. If a power of attorney holder is acting for the lessee, the holder swears the attorney holder's affidavit.
