Why a kit

  • All the papers for the deal, in the right order, with a checklist to tick off.
  • A kit counts as one download, however many papers it has.

What you will need

Use the papers in this order.

  1. Before you start, decide who you will trust and what they may do, and collect these papers.

    Have ready:

    • The full name and address of the person you are giving the power to
    • Your ID proof and, for a property, its address and ownership paper
  2. For a general power to look after your affairs, make the general power of attorney. It does not give power to sell immovable property.

  3. To let someone rent out and manage a property for you, make the power of attorney for letting and managing a property.

  4. If you live outside India, make the power of attorney by a person outside India and have it signed and attested as the office asks.

  5. When you no longer want the power to continue, make the deed of revocation and give a copy to the attorney.

Tell us the details of this deal once. Each document in the kit then opens with those answers already filled in, marked "From kit details", and you can change any of them.

A kit is for one deal: one set of people, one property. For a different deal, start a new kit.

These details stay in this browser tab only. Nothing new is kept on our servers, and closing the tab clears them. They survive signing in with a code in this same tab.
