You own a house in Himachal Pradesh and want to register it as a homestay or bed-and-breakfast unit under the Himachal Pradesh Home Stay Rules, 2025, made under the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002. Registration is done through the Tourism Department's online e-Services Portal, and this sworn affidavit is the declaration you attach to that application, confirming your ownership, residence and compliance with the Rules' conditions.

I, Anita Verma, wife of Sh. Rajeev Verma, resident of Chaya Cottage, Village Goshal, P.O. Naggar, Tehsil Kullu, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh 175130, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

1. That I am the owner of the property described as Khasra No. 96, Mauza Goshal, a two-storey residential house of six rooms in all, being the deponent's own permanent residence, situated at Chaya Cottage, Village Goshal, P.O. Naggar, Tehsil Kullu, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh 175130 (the "Property"), and propose to register the Property as a homestay unit under the Himachal Pradesh Home Stay Rules, 2025, made under the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002.

2. That The deponent is a domicile of Himachal Pradesh, owns the property described above, and ordinarily resides there.

4. That I propose to let out 3 room(s) of the Property to paying guests as a homestay, the balance of the Property remaining my family's own residential use, and that the number of rooms so let does not exceed the limit prescribed by the Himachal Pradesh Home Stay Rules, 2025.

5. That the following safety and compliance measures are in place at the Property: One ABC-type fire extinguisher and a first-aid box kept on the ground floor; drinking water and attached sanitation provided to each guest room; CCTV installed covering the entrance and common areas, footage retained as the Rules require.

6. That the Property will be used as a homestay strictly in accordance with the Himachal Pradesh Home Stay Rules, 2025, and will not be operated as a hotel, resort or other establishment outside the scope of those Rules.

7. That the statements made above are true to my knowledge and belief, that nothing material has been concealed, and that no part of this affidavit is false.
