Use this one when you are applying for first-time membership on your own footing — for example as a legal heir, allottee or new owner who is not receiving shares from an outgoing member; use Application for Membership and Transfer of Shares instead if you are buying the flat from an existing member and need the outgoing member's shares moved into your name in the same application. Apply to become a member in your own right after buying or being allotted the flat or plot, and to be issued the share certificate.

The record will be held by Kagaznama and may be shared only with the applicant/member, ABC Cooperative House Building Society Ltd, its managing committee, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and professionals directly involved in the stated society matter.

If the matter does not proceed, the personal data will be retained for 90 days and then erased. If the matter proceeds, the record will be retained for the matter plus 12 months, except where a statutory or society-record retention period requires a longer named period.

A person named in this document may request correction or erasure where the purpose has ended, withdraw consent for future consent-based processing, or raise a grievance by writing to privacy@example.com. The record-holder should acknowledge and reply within 30 days.
